Room Style
Our cabins are handbuilt from the ground up including the comfortable furniture you’ll find inside. Each cabin features an open, rustic lodging feel that comfortably accommodates those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our rooms are furnished with all of the essentials, including a coffee pot, microwave, mini-fridge, charcoal grill, bedding, bath towels, and toilet paper. We’re open year-round, so each cabin comes equipped with heating and air conditioning so you can visit anytime you’re ready to getaway. We have quick access to three trails on the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System, including Pinnacle Creek, Pocahontas, Indian Ridge trails.

We’re a small, locally-owned ATV Resort buried in the deep woods of Southern West Virginia. We offer the most affordable rates on relaxing and exciting ATV adventures. Our resort is conveniently located close to local municipalities while keeping you in the bare wilderness of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia, and near four trails within the Hatfield & McCoy Trail System. Pull a seat up by one of our firepits and make some smores with the kids. We provide our guests with firewood, board games, and all the other amenities you need to stay clean and comfortable after a fun day on the trails.
Established in 2017
Black Oak ATV Resort was founded in 2017 by Bruce Sizemore. Bruce sought out to create a place where people could get away for the weekend and have the convenience of fun right by their doorstep.
Our Mission
The outdoors are your playground, but they don’t have to be where you rest your head after a long day of riding the trails. Here at Black Oak ATV Resort, we pride ourselves in providing lodging that’s not only comfortable; but accessible and affordable.
